1) Universal or General Purpose Spill Kits.
Made with gray absorbents to clean up both water based fluids and hydrocarbons.

2) Oil Only Spill Kits.
Made with white absorbents that repeal water and float on water. Used to clean up hydrocarbons only (motor oil, jet fuel, diesel, gasoline, hydraulic oil, etc).

Oil Absorbent Pads  are used on land or water to soak up oil spills.  Features include: only absorbs hydrocarbons; repels water; floats on water; absorbs all hydrocarbons such as oil, gasoline, fuel oil, diesel and lubricating oils; starts wicking on contact; bright white color makes it easy to see when fully saturated with oil.

Oil Only pads absorbs gasoline, Diesel, engine oil, hydraulic oil grease, petroleum based solvents.
Universal absorbs water, petroleum products, chemicals, cleaners, body fluids, antifreeze,  etc.
